A letter from the Chapter President and Vice President:
Greetings Sorors, members of the Champaign-Urbana community, and University of Illinois student body.
On behalf of the Alpha Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., we would like to formally welcome you to our chapter website and invite you to learn more about our illustrious organization.
It has been an honor to lead as the Presidents of this phenomenal chapter! We have enjoyed serving both the University of Illinois and the Champaign-Urbana Community, continuing 90 years of Alpha Nu's historic legacy.
The women of the Alpha Nu Chapter continuously strive to uphold the ideals of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., centering our values to sisterhood, scholarship, and serving both locally and globally. Our members pride themselves on being steadfast advocates for mental health in our generation.
We structure our programs and initiatives through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:
Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Political Awareness and Involvement, and Physical and Mental Health. Through our respected thrusts, we intend to promote academic success, serve our community, and stand up for injustices facing underrepresented groups in this day in age. Our priority has been and will remain to provide innovative and relevant programming that benefits our campus and community.
We aspire to continue upholding the legacy of our 22 Founders while keeping our focus on Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service.
Thank you for visiting our website! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We thank you for your constant support and look forward to seeing you at our next programs and events!
